About Me - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - |

Several years ago it became apparent that the gap between the Fine and Digital Art worlds’ would close once serious artists embrace the creative vista’s hidden in pixel rendering.
I have been developing techniques to further combine, merge and mix-up these disciplines by painting over and under layered images adding drawing and most color via brush. My concepts and layout are usually thought out digitally but during creation often seven or more layers of paint and digital imaging are required.
I lately have approached my painting from a story teller’s perspective. I attempt to draw the viewer into a real world but then lurch him by mood, strange space or whatever.
In 2009 I have started a few pieces using acryllic and completed a Colorado landscape. Several large layered pieces are underway using full sheet watercolor paper and a new pigment mix.
I think you find this work worthwhile.
