FAQ
Can I order directly from the Artist?
Ans: Of course, but only prints. I will always honor original art sales through my galleries. This sometimes is painful to all, but it insures that our original art will always be sold at a fair market value.
But for you to consider - My art will be sold off the same baseline which assures your long term value.
Do you supervise your print production?
Ans: Yes and a big yes. I am a degreed printmaker and do my own production plus framing.
I.E. - "The buck stops here." I have produced fine art for over 20 years.
Can I talk to you?
Ans: I am always pleased to hear from you either by email or phone.
I read a lot about art conservation. What is your position here?
Ans: I really know alot about this and must confess that we must take the middle road. When we frame originals, all is in perfect order. paper, glue, glazing, and matting.
Our originals are in double acid free mats on foamboard, mounted with acid free tape. To go further I would recommend quality conservation certified acrylic glazing over double or triple mats. All work has finished dust cover backing.
On prints, we may use single mats and maybe other mounting boards. I only use pigmented inks and coated rag papers which are conservation quality (100yr).
Price Range - Most originals sell in the 1000 and up range in a custom frame. Prints range from $15 to $260 depending on size and framing.
Pricing - Are you flexible?
Ans: Of course we are flexible
on prints
. Size , matting and framing make a big difference here.
Prints can run from $15 up - lets discuss the image, paper, ink load, the signature, edition size, mat, framing, our profit, etc-etc, and you will soon be in tune.
Do you take on commissions?
Ans: Yes
What else?
Ask - I are open to discuss all options ....
